At Erzurum Technical University (ETU), an award ceremony was organized to congratulate academics who were entitled to receive support from the European Union and TUBITAK with the projects they developed in 2024–2025. The program, held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, and Prof. Dr. Naim Ürkmez, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu, and the academics who received project support. Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak drew attention to the importance of project culture and stated: “Universities are built on three fundamental pillars: education and training, research, and social contribution. The culture of research and project development directly strengthens the scientific identity of universities. As Erzurum Technical University, we have attached great importance to the development of project culture since our establishment, and the national and international project supports obtained by our academics are a concrete indicator of this approach. International projects make significant contributions to universities in terms of research capacity and academic visibility. In particular, the increase in European Union–funded projects further strengthens our university’s scientific collaborations. On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate our academics who were entitled to receive support from the European Union and TUBITAK with the projects they developed in 2024–2025, and I wish them continued success.” Following Rector Çakmak’s speech, the award ceremony began, during which certificates of appreciation and gifts were presented to the academics who were entitled to receive European Union and TÜBİTAK support.
